![]() ![]() The bartender tried to help us when finally, someone appeared and sauntered over to check us in. We'd driven for 7 hours so this was particularly frustrating. We waited at least 15 minutes upon check in while front desk staff was completely absent. We are frequent travelers and recently stayed at this property while dropping our child at Wake Forest. I even went as far as to write his name down given the very unacceptable service. Only pleasant part of stay was waitress in restaurant for breakfast. I just don't know how a place could go down hill so quickly. They obviously must be short staffed, forgot about customer service training and have some maintenance issues (our bath tub floor was peeling badly - room 210). I am really thinking twice now given I have 3 more stays scheduled over the next 3 months. I finally in a very calm voice explained that good service would suggest she at least apologize for the inconveniences. I recounted our challenges with the care line. I told her no need now to get me the k-cups. When speaking to Natalie upon check out and explaining how disappointed I was in our stay she just looked at me blankly. The fourth call was for coffee refills our second morning which they never attended to (when calling this time #4 for the coffee I was actually told it would be a while IF they could get to me because there was only one person working). Third call was for our room to be cleaned (it was 5:00 pm and still no housekeeping not apology). I had to call the care line four times! First for extra towels and shampoo (which I had requested prior to check in). This is the fourth time visiting this hotel since May as a Wake Forest parent. ![]()
